I have a long-standing partnership with Meraxis, supporting various communications needs. As part of our collaboration, I assisted two pivotal projects that underscore their commitment to transforming the polymer world towards 100% sustainability.
Understanding the necessity of internal buy-in for this vision, I crafted an internal communications strategy designed to embed sustainability deeply into the company’s culture and emphasize its vital role in the future of the business. Additionally, I developed a targeted LinkedIn social media strategy to position Meraxis as a leader in sustainability and digitalization within the polymer industry.
The internal communication strategy included the creation of several channels to engage employees both intellectually and emotionally. This led to the launch of the biannual CEO-led “Sustainability Newsletter,” the “Brown-Bag University” series for ongoing learning, and the “Sustainable-Minds” platform to gather innovative ideas from employees.
In developing the social media strategy, I focused on crafting compelling and engaging content that resonated with employees and external stakeholders. This approach successfully increased Meraxis’s followers and engagement by approximately 20 percent.
